Save Campbell STEM Elementary

Campbell STEM Elementary is an incredibly important part of Anchorage’s education community! It’s the only accredited STEM elementary school in the state, giving kids access to hands-on, future-focused learning they can’t get anywhere else in Alaska.
Losing it would mean losing a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students to learn, explore, and build real-world skills from the very beginning.

Legal Complaint

Dear Campbell STEM Community,
We want to provide you with an important update regarding our upcoming court proceedings.
Due to a change in the assigned judge, the court hearing previously scheduled for Monday, April 27 has been canceled. The newly assigned judge will reschedule the hearing in accordance with her availability and court calendar. While this creates a delay, it is procedural in nature and does not negatively impact our case.
The legal action remains fully active and continues to move forward. We are confident in the strength of our position, both factually and legally. This delay does not jeopardize our strategy or the merits of the case.
It is important to understand that even if the Anchorage School District continues taking steps toward closure during this time, the court retains full authority to intervene. If warranted, a court order can reverse actions already taken, regardless of how far those actions have progressed.
Now is not the time to step back.
We encourage every member of the Campbell community to stay engaged, remain united, and continue making your voice heard. Your presence, your advocacy, and your continued support are critical to protecting this school and everything it represents.
We will provide updates as soon as new information is available.
Call to Action: Stay informed. Stay vocal. Continue showing up. Continue speaking out. This effort is far from over—and your involvement matters now more than ever.
